Arthur Byng Nelson is a highly regarded solicitor with over 15 years’ experience in private wealth matters, specialising in the unique intersection of art, culture, and heritage. As Partner and Head of Sherrards’ Art & Heritage practice, he advises high-net-worth individuals, families, artists, collectors, and cultural organisations on estate planning, tax structuring, and the preservation of significant assets.

Arthur’s commitment to the art and cultural sector extends beyond his legal practice. He is a trustee of Art History Link-Up, a charity providing free art history courses, including A-Level, to under-represented students. He also has longstanding involvement with the C20 Society, to which he provides pro bono support, and is a member of the Charity Law Association.
